WWE’s Money in the Bank event is going down on July 1st, and a lot of things are possible during the big show. It seems that despite reports that WWE hasn’t landed on a winner for the show yet, that is the case after all.
WWE still has one slot to fill in the Women’s Money in the Bank match, which they will take care of tonight on RAW. Raquel Rodriguez and Trish Stratus will throw down for that final spot. If Trish is able to win this match, then this year will see Money in the Bank get its first dose of Stratusfaction.
Ringside News reached out to inquire about WWE’s current plan for Money in the Bank, and whether they have landed on winners for the matches yet. We were told that “the decision was made about both winners over three weeks ago.”
Reports are going around that WWE has three options that they are weighing for the winner of this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match. LA Knight, Damian Priest, and another unnamed Superstar have been floated. Reporting that an unnamed Superstar is slated to win is a slam dunk report, for sure. The fact is that nothing is up in the air, and WWE has already made their decision.
Right now, the Vegas betting odds have LA Knight in front. In case you’re a betting individual, the odds are LA Knight 4/7 (-175), Damian Priest 5/4 (+125), Butch 10/1 (+1000), Santos Escobar 10/1 (+1000), Shinsuke Nakamura 10/1 (+1000), Richochet 14/1 (+1400).
It will be interesting to see what WWE books for the O2 Arena on July 1st. London will be buzzing with Money in the Bank hype, as fans in North American will get another afternoon pay-per-view event.
