Vince McMahon Accused Of Putting Zoey Stark In ‘Forced’ Segments

Zoey Stark was one of the highlights of NXT television for a long time, largely due to her excellent in-ring skills on a weekly basis. She was called up to the main roster earlier this year and clearly, WWE had major plans for her as Stark interfered in Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus’ match at WWE Night Of Champions. Now it appears that Vince McMahon was accused of putting Zoey Stark in forced segments.

The WWE Draft took place earlier this year and quite a few NXT talent were called up to the main roster. This included Zoey Stark, who was called up to Monday Night RAW and that was met with a lot of applause.

Following WWE Night Of Champions, Zoey Stark and Trish Stratus have been feuding with Becky Lynch on Monday Night RAW. She has also been part of promo segments, which have been a mixed bag for many.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray talked about Zoey Stark’s booking on the main roster so far. He proceeded to accuse Vince McMahon of putting her in forced segments on Monday Night RAW.

“In NXT, I really enjoyed Zoey Stark. So far, on the main roster, not so much,” Ray said. “I feel that her promo and verbiage are extremely forced and that she’s trying to memorize her lines. I didn’t feel the same way about her in NXT — I felt she was a lot more relaxed and going out there and letting it flow. Now, is it because of the big spotlight of Monday Night Raw? Maybe she’s not used to someone from Gorilla telling her to do things?

I go by the way things make me feel — the tone, inflection, volume, energy, and personality. I’m actually looking in Zoey’s eyes, and watching her memorize stuff.

End of the match, when she’s sitting atop the ladder – after Becky defeated Chelsea — she’s got this mean, ‘I’m gonna get you’ pro wrestling face on. To me, all of that stuff screams Vince. I will defend Vince [McMahon] on a lot of the great things, but some of the stuff he wants is so over-the-top sometimes.”

With ZoeyStark and Becky Lynch, both set to compete in the Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match next month, we’ll have to see how the match will turn out as they will definitely square off against each other.
