Jon Moxley made his debut at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and wasted no time in becoming a major name in the company. Four years since his debut, Moxley has been on a roll in the world of professional wrestling. He recently came back to NJPW and competed in a match and now it appears Moxley’s next NJPW match has been confirmed.

At the NJPW Dominion event, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Shota Umino challenged Kazuchika Okada & Tomohiro Ishii & Hiroshi Tanahashi for the NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Championship.

Following The Blackpool Combat Club’s loss, Jon Moxley revealed that he plans on returning to New Japan Pro Wrestling again as he has a resident card in Japan. Moxley then confirmed his next NJPW appearance as well.

On the July 5 NJPW Strong show, Jon Moxley will be squaring off against El Desperado in a Final Death match. Jon Moxley also hyped up the match in a big way in a promo video.
