AEW Collision’s premiere episode is in the books, and The Elite were not seen. It seems that they are going to stay far away from CM Punk for now.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that, “AEW Collision is off to a hot start, and we might be in for more of the same on Wednesday.”

The report also noted that Kenny Omega and Young Bucks were not in Chicago for Collision. They might not be there for Dynamite, either. After all, The Elite and CM Punk are on different shows for a reason.

As expected, the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega were not in Chicago for AEW Collision on June 17. However, we’ve heard they might not be in Chicago at all, and that includes for this week’s AEW Dynamite at Wintrust Arena. We’re told that there were pre-tapes done to progress some of their angles, but that there’s a good chance they’re not in the arena.

It was also noted that, “CM Punk may be showing up this Wednesday, though not officially announced. As of this weekend, those close to Punk claimed that he was planned for the June 21st show.”

CM Punk made his return to wrestling on the June 17th Collision. His next match hasn’t been confirmed just yet.
