Pro wrestlers give it their all in the ring, and that can open the door for injuries. Sadly, a star who could be a breakout talent for AEW is now dealing with a bit of a physical setback.

During Friday’s episode of Rampage, Bandido experienced this firsthand while competing in a match against Konosuke Takeshita. The bout showcased Bandido’s skills but unfortunately resulted in an injury.

Bandido joined AEW in November of last year and had the opportunity to work with acclaimed wrestlers such as Bryan Danielson. However, due to visa issues, he was unable to compete until April of this year when he began participating in trios matches. During his time away from AEW, he also wrestled for various international promotions in countries like Australia, Mexico, and Belgium.

Bandido shared a post on Facebook, where he revealed that he sustained an injury to his left wrist and received an initial diagnosis of a triangular fibrocartilage complex injury, which may require immediate surgery. However, he plans to seek a second opinion on Monday before determining the next course of action.

We’re sending out our best to Bandido, because he really has a ton of potential in pro wrestling. Hopefully, he can heal up fast, so he can compete at 100% once again in Tony Khan’s company.

What’s your take on Bandido’s injury? Will you miss seeing him if he has to take a break? Sound off in the comments!
