Roman Reigns has established himself as one of the biggest stars in the history of pro wrestling and it’s not hard to see why. After all, the Tribal Chief of WWE continues to rule the company with an iron fist. This has translated into his merchandise sales, as he topped last week’s sales in a big way.
Fans of Roman Reigns were eagerly waiting for him to reach 1000 days as the Universal Champion as WWE continued to hype it up. It happened just before Night Of Champions and even Roman Reigns felt no words were needed after the incredible accomplishment. WWE even celebrated Roman Reigns’ 1000+ day run as Universal Champion by unveiling a new title for him.
There is no denying the fact that Roman Reigns is a draw in WWE and his merchandise sales speak for themselves. Apart from him, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes also boast solid merchandise sales.
Last week, Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics noted the top five merchandise sellers were Rollins, LWO, Reigns, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and Kevin Owens. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Reigns topped the merchandise sales for last week, followed by Steve Austin, the nWo, Eddie Guerrero, and Cody Rhodes.
Roman Reigns’ next title defence has also been confirmed. In the meantime, The Bloodline storyline continues to gain speed as we head towards the WWE Money In The Bank Premium Live Event next month. We’ll have to see how the storyline will progress in the coming weeks.
