CM Punk’s New T-Shirt Pays Homage To Roddy Piper

CM Punk is certainly one of the most controversial and divisive names in the history of professional wrestling and fans know that all too well now. He will be returning on the debut episode of AEW Collision this Saturday and AEW released a new t-shirt ahead of his return. Now it appears the t-shirt pays homage to Roddy Piper.

As seen on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, it was officially announced that CM Punk will be teaming up with FTR and squaring off against Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Samoa Joe in the main event of the debut episode of AEW Collision on June 17th.

This will mark CM Punk’s first AEW appearance since the All Out pay-per-view last year. Ahead of his AEW return, the company released a new “Rowdy Ringer” t-shirt that has a cartoon photo of CM Punk’s dog named Larry. The t-shirt seems to pay homage to a shirt that Piper used to wear, which featured a puma.

CM Punk’s AEW Collision promo on Dynamite this week did not get the kind of reaction AEW wanted. Regardless, we will have to see how CM Punk will be booked once he returns this week.
