CM Punk went ballistic on Colt Cabana during the media scum after AEW All Out last year. That led to some major issues, and a brawl in the locker room with the Elite. Now, Punk is returning, and there is a lot to unpack.

While speaking to ESPN, CM Punk opened up about his time in the All Out media scrum, and how he put Tony Khan in a bad position. This was about all he could speak about, but suffice it to say that emotions were running high.

Punk told ESPN that he has no relationship with Cabana but that he “never” asked Khan to take Cabana’s or anyone else’s job. But others in the company, including the Elite, believe Punk did indeed do that, per sources. Page was evidently confident enough to bring it up unexpectedly on television.

We already covered how CM Punk opened up about his bad time against Hangman Page at Double or Nothing. That moment caused a rift between the two. Sadly, Punk couldn’t talk about the whole Brawl Out situation.

Colt Cabana and CM Punk might still have issues, and that’s not likely to change any time soon. Now, we will have to see how things pan out, as CM Punk is a part of AEW Collision and Colt Cabana is a part of the ROH side of things.
