Ricky Starks is currently one of the highlights of AEW television, and there is a good reason for that. Starks has worked hard to establish himself as a solid talent, and fans continue to support him all the time. That said, it appears AEW was blasted for how they have been booking Ricky Starks.

For the past couple of months, Ricky Starks had been engaged in a feud with The Bullet Club, namely Jay White and Juice Robinson. Starks was also involved in a solid feud with MJF for the AEW World Title earlier this year – something that fans felt should have continued.

Ricky Starks also competed at Double or Nothing in the battle royal for the International Championship, where his feud with Jay White and Juice Robinson intensified. However, Starks would eventually lose to Jay White after interference from the Gunns last week.

While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette talked about Ricky Starks getting laid out and beaten. Cornette blasted AEW for terribly booking Starks, noting that it devalued him.

“Ricky Starks, the people like him and he’s good, he’s got fire. He is being booked to be left laying on his face or beaten or foiled or demoralized or whatever constantly. He’s got a chance here to show what he can do and Jay White, supposedly this hotshot great worker from New Japan opportunity in America where nobody knows who the F**** he is to show what he can do and they’re just having bad sloppy fighting on the floor like every other match that we see from this company.”

We will have to wait and see what AEW will have planned for Ricky Starks after his feud with Jay White and Juice Robinson concludes, as fans want him to succeed in a big way.
