Will Ospreay is hailed as one of the top pro wrestlers in the business right now and there are numerous reasons for that. Ospreay has won numerous titles all over the world and especially made a name for himself in NJPW. He returned on AEW Dynamite this week and had an interesting confrontation after the show went off the air.

This week’s Dynamite was headlined by the Blackpool Combat Club squaring off against The Elite in the main event. After The Elite won the match, Kenny Omega and Konosuke Takeshita had a fight in the ring.

However, Will Ospreay suddenly made his return and laid out Kenny Omega. As the show went off the air, the Aerial Assassin stood tall over the Best Bout Machine. Of course, that wasn’t the end of it.

After AEW Dynamite went off the air, Ospreay and Bryan Danielson had a star-off on the walkway, as they hinted at a future match. In the ring, Kenny Omega invited the returning Eddie Kingston. Omega also thanked the fans for their support and encouraged them to check out this Friday’s Rampage.

Kenny Omega will be defending his US Title at the highly anticipated AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event scheduled for June 25 against Will Osperay in a rematch from their Wrestle Kingdom encounter earlier this year. We’ll have to see whether Ospreay will avenge his loss this time around.

What’s your take on AEW bringing Will Ospreay? Do you think he will be able to defeat Kenny Omega? Sound off in the comments!
