In a recent interview with Cultaholic Wrestling, Ridge Holland, a former on-screen affiliate of Drew McIntyre, provided an update on the Scottish Warrior’s status and potential return timeline in WWE.

Holland expressed that McIntyre is doing well and likely hitting the gym at the moment, jokingly mentioning him lifting two cows. While he didn’t have any specific information, Holland shared his belief that fans can expect to see McIntyre back in WWE, whether it’s in a month, two months, or three months from now.

“He’s fine, Drew’s fine. Yeah, he is probably in the gym as we speak, lifting two cows. He is fine; Drew is good.

“ I don’t know for sure, I don’t know anything. I think whether it is a month from now, two months from now, or three months from now, you will see Drew McIntyre back in WWE.”

Speculation surrounding McIntyre’s WWE future has been ongoing throughout 2023, with reports suggesting that his contract is set to expire in February 2024.

Although there haven’t been any recent updates regarding a new deal between McIntyre and WWE, a recent report indicated that creative plans were being developed to involve McIntyre on TV as early as Money in the Bank on July 1. However, whether McIntyre returns or not will ultimately depend on his satisfaction with the proposed plans.

While McIntyre’s future remains uncertain, WWE has announced his next company appearance, signaling that he is still scheduled to be part of WWE’s upcoming events.
