WWE’s Strategy With Roster Changes After 2023 Draft

WWE has a lot of things going on, and their rosters are seemingly fluid after the 2023 WWE Draft. That change for so many free agents saw a big shift in main roster talent venturing to NXT as well.

Baron Corbin, Mustafa Ali, Dana Brooke, and more have made their way to NXT, despite claiming to be main roster talent. They are making a lot more than developmental talent to be in NXT, and the company wants to have that mixture.

BWE noted behind their private Twitter account that WWE is planning to continue their roster shifts. The goal is to find a balance with every brand before they settle with things.

A lot of roster movement as i mentioned after Mania. Expect to see names go around until they balance every brand.

WWE has three active brands right now, with RAW and SmackDown considered “main roster” shows. That being said, NXT will get a boost of engagement very soon, because the company has no plans to stop moving people around until they are satisfied with what they have.
