Baron Corbin Is ‘Shedding’ Vince McMahon’s Creative Ideas With NXT Run

Baron Corbin showed up in NXT, and as free agent, he can do just that. Now, Corbin is in line for an NXT Title shot against Carmelo Hayes on the June 27th episode of NXT Gold Rush. That is a big change from his main roster run.

After suffering through a bad luck gimmick, and one that made him poor, Baron Corbin is no longer Happy Corbin. Vince McMahon’s ideas for his character are now being replaced right in front of our eyes.

BWE noted behind their private Twitter account that they are happy for Baron Corbin now. He is getting to “shed” some of those Vince McMahon creative concepts.

Baron Corbin wrestled in a cut-off t-shirt and basketball shorts this week. That change was notable, especially since he finished the match without a shirt, and winning in the process.

Baron Corbin’s character is no longer the Lone Wolf, and he’s not Happy either. Now, he is getting to showcase a bit more of himself, and that could include a welcomed change in the process.
