AEW has seen a ton of changes since its inception back in 2019 and introduced several improvements to the product. This especially in includes the company’s partnership with NJPW. In fact, Khan believes the partnership is the most imperative thing for AEW.

Endeavor is now the controlling owner of WWE, and they will merge UFC and WWE into a new publicly traded company. This is truly a massive deal and will lead to significant changes that will be felt by both pro wrestling as well as the Combat sports world for a long time.

As previously reported, the new name of the publicly traded company will be TKO Group Holdings. Naturally, Tony Khan has been keeping a close eye on what WWE has been doing.

While speaking to Reuters, Tony Khan talked about WWE’s merger with the UFC and further explained how AEW’s partnership with NJPW is the most Imperative thing right now, adding that he hopes NJPW will participate in All In as well.

“It would be a huge benefit to AEW if there is participation from New Japan Pro Wrestling and some of their top stars in the event.

In a world where the proposed merger happens, as it is suggested on paper, then I would believe the AEW, New Japan Pro Wrestling partnership is more imperative than ever before.”

According to Reuters, New Japan would ” consider sending talent” to AEW: All In if an offer was made. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see how AEW and NJPW will continue to develop their partnership.

What’s your take on what Tony Khan said? Do you think that partnership benefits AEW in the long run? Let us know in the comments!
