Dolph Ziggler has been a mainstay on WWE television since signing with the company in 2004. The Showoff has accomplished a lot in WWE and continues to be a highlight no matter what. He was once punched by Hugh Jackman during a WWE segment and it appears Jackman spoke to Ziggler about legitimately punching him prior to the segment.
Dolph Ziggler is a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, having won the title back in 2011 and 2013 respectively. Unfortunately, he was never seen in the main event title picture after 2013 but did get featured in some memorable storylines.
In September 2011, the Showoff squared off against Matt Cardona in a singles match. It saw Hugh Jackman, who was the guest host of RAW at the time, punching Dolph Ziggler in the face and costing him the match.
While speaking on NotSam, the former World Heavyweight Champion revealed the details of the conversation he had with Hugh Jackman, where the actor expressed his desire to legitimately punch or get punched.
“There’s guys like Hugh Jackman that go, ‘Hey, can you punch me in the face, or can I punch you in the face? I’m like, ‘Yeah, but it’s gotta be real.’ He goes, ‘Okay.’ And then, of course, it had to be me getting punched.”
We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for Dolph Ziggler next. After all, Ziggler has proven to be able to make the most out of any given storyline in the company.
