WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin remains one of the biggest and most influential names in pro wrestling history. After all, he single-handedly ushered in the Attitude Era and changed the course of pro wrestling for good. That said, it appears Austin was mooned while he was filming his recent show.
Throughout his career, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin has squared off against some of the most iconic wrestlers in WWE history. From legendary battles with The Rock to intense rivalries with Triple H and Mick Foley, Austin never failed to create history at every turn.
The Texas Rattlesnake is now retired from pro wrestling, barring his in-ring return last year at WrestleMania 38. In the meantime, he kept himself busy by working on a wide variety of shows.
While speaking on the Kliq This podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash talked about Steve Austin working on the A&E Show, “Stone Cold Takes on America.” Nash revealed that Austin was mooned while he was filming the show.
“He just told me one story and I don’t think he’ll mind me saying this. Steve got up at like six o’clock in the morning. It was actually before that because I think the local Krispy Kreme opened up at six. So Steve thought, f*** it man. I’ll get up and he bought like $60 worth of doughnuts for the crew.”
Steve drove every mile of that whole show. If you watched it, he drives this Winnebago, this big ass trailer. He says the next thing you know, the guy in the Escalade, I think it’s an Escalade, it’s some kind of SUV, they’re driving next to Steve and the lady producer said, ‘Unroll the window. He wants to hand you some doughnuts.’ Steve’s like I am. You don’t f*** around in a car. Put your seat belt on. This is adult time. This isn’t f*** around time, especially in a damn Winnebago.”
“So they end up mooning Steve, and you know, Steve is 60 or close to it. He’s like, ‘Here I am. I’m supposed to be the rattlesnake fu***** Stone Cold Steve Austin and I got these fu***** jackasses doing the little fu***** college prank. What am I supposed to do? Is my character supposed to sell that?’ He says, ‘Let alone the fact that I got up on my own damn, you know, trying to be nice, and they’re wanting to fu*****throw doughnuts all up and down the fuc**** road that I paid for.”
Steve Austin also recently revealed why he won’t return to WWE for a full-time gig. Regardless, Austin is more than happy with how his life is going right now and that’s all that matters.
