Roman Reigns has established himself as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time thanks to his incredible character work. The Tribal Chief has dominated his opponents since his return back in 2020. It’s been a while since he defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Title and now it appears his next title defense has been confirmed.

Fans of Roman Reigns were eagerly waiting for him to reach 1000 days as the Universal Champion as WWE continued to hype it up. It happened just before Night Of Champions and even Roman Reigns felt no words were needed after the incredible accomplishment. WWE even celebrated Roman Reigns’ 1000+ day run as Universal Champion by unveiling a new title for him last week on Smackdown.

Roman Reigns last defended his title against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 and has since then been involved with The Bloodline storyline. That said, he will be defending his title very soon.

It was officially confirmed that The Head Of The Table will defend his title on Saturday, June 17, at the Heritage Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. His opponent will be none other than Rey Mysterio, with whom he feuded back in 2021.
