Gable Steveson’s awe-inspiring performance at the Tokyo Olympics back in 2021 made him a household name. Due to this, he eventually signed with WWE but has barely been used by the company since signing with them. It appears that Steveson hinted at big things amidst his WWE hiatus.

After a lot of teases and speculation, WWE managed to sign Gable Steveson to a contract long ago. He was already drafted to Monday Night RAW as part of the WWE Draft. He also got physical during WrestleMania 38 Night 2 but didn’t do all that much after that.

Gable Steveson last appeared on an episode of Friday Night Smackdown in December last year alongside Kurt Angle. Fans wondered whether WWE would ever use Steveson as it seemed unlikely he was ever going to do anything in the company.

While speaking with Associated Press, Gable Steveson talked about his WWE future and stated that his time is coming and it will be sooner than what most people think.

“I am still doing my thing. I have changed my diet, my body appearance. I wanted to be the best thing ever so when I did go on TV, it was going to be a sight that nobody has seen before. My time is coming and it’s coming sooner than a lot of people think.”

Gable Steveson also wants to prove himself to WWE fans. Steveson even made an impressive return to amateur wrestling recently, where he absolutely dominated the competition. We’ll have to see when Steveson will finally make his long-awaited in-ring debut in WWE.
