AEW Had No Interest In STARDOM Talent For Forbidden Door

AEW and NJPW are set to throw another Forbidden Door event on June 25th. Now, it appears that we know a bit more about the card, and who fans shouldn’t expect.

A report came out today that STARDOM talent wouldn’t be able to attend Forbidden Door. There were visa issues, but there was reportedly interest.

Sean Sapp tweeted out to squash a report about Forbidden Door, because AEW actually did not contact STARDOM about using any of their talent for the show.

I’m told that the word that most on the Stardom roster not having Canadian visas is likely true, but the word that AEW didn’t contact Stardom about the potential to use their talent on Forbidden Door is “absolutely untrue” and there has been contact within the last month

It seems that AEW did not really want STARDOM talent for Forbidden Door after all. That being said, there is still an issue with visas, so they might have had an issue anyway.

AEW can have a lot of things going down on their way to Forbidden Door. It appears that fans shouldn’t expect any STARDOM surprises though.
