X-Pac is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world his days of competing inside the squared circle are far behind him. That said, Billy Gunn apparently claimed that AEW tried to bring X-Pac in a couple of times.

AEW has been the home for numerous legends, who have seen a career resurgence since joining the company. The same can be said for WWE Hall Of Famer Billy Gunn, who is one of the most over stars in AEW.

Even then, Billy Gunn will always be associated with D-Generation X. While speaking with Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge, Billy Gunn revealed that AEW has tried to bring in X-Pac a couple of times in the past, but to no avail.

I don’t know if that’s the thing right now, because I think you’d be hard-pressed to get Tony to get me away from The Acclaimed right now. No, I mean, it would be great. I think we’ve tried to get Sean in here a couple of times. Things just didn’t work out. I think if the time’s right, I think he would be a great asset because he still has huge popularity, everybody knows him, and he’s such a good guy that he would not only help the younger talent as well as be a good representative for our company. He’d be amazing if we could get him in here.”

X-Pac briefly returned to the ring in 2022, last competing against Joey Janela at Spring Break 6. Pac would lose the match but then made it clear he will return later after he recovers from his injury.
