LA Knight made a huge impact after his debut at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. The initial stages of his main roster run made fans fear the worst for his future in the company. Thankfully, LA Knight was able to get back to his old gimmick and is now insanely over with fans. That said, it appears that WWE was criticized for giving Knight the strangest push in pro wrestling history.

The former NXT Superstar is often considered one of the best promo workers in the company and he has shown fans time and time again why he deserves the acclaim. LA Knight continues to win over fans with his skills every week.

LA Knight has tried to keep himself relevant despite all the mediocre angles being presented to him. It is very evident that LA Knight is one of the most over WWE Superstars right now as he gets incredibly loud reactions every week.

LA Knight even defeated Montez Ford last week to qualify for the Money In The Bank match. While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette talked about LA Knight’s booking in WWE. He criticized the company for giving Knight the strangest push in pro wrestling history.

“If this is somehow planned to be this way, this is the strangest push in the history of wrestling. No matter how much they like him, the fans I mean, they either beat him or he wins by the skin of his teeth and generally gets the short end of the stick every time. People cheer for him because they want to.”

We will have to wait and see whether LA Knight will end up winning the Money In The Bank ladder match and get one step closer to winning a Championship in Vince McMahon’s company soon.
