AEW has a new show coming up on June 17th, and fans will soon see what is going on with Collision. CM Punk will return, but that doesn’t mean the entire world will be watching.

Many pro wrestling fans let out a collective groan when Tony Khan announced that his come is crowbarring another two hours of television onto TNT’s lineup every Saturday night. It seems that other networks outside the USA are not interested.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that TSN rejected any idea to air Collision. They didn’t even want a special two-hour episode for their premiere show.

“When Rampage started with CM Punk, it did draw, but [TSN] didn’t keep the show. I would have expected, if nothing else, June 17th as a one-time special, and they didn’t even greenlight that, so you know, and again, we don’t know what’s going on in the UK other than AEW plus on Fite, that’s the way to go. They’re adding Collision, and I don’t know if there’s gonna be a price increase, two hours more a week commercial-free.”

Only time will tell how this turns out for AEW. They are trying hard to gain interest for their new show, but that doesn’t mean that fans are really interested in seeing more AEW action, especially if that means giving Tony Khan’s company another night of the week for his show.

On that note, AEW Collision ticket sales have not been good at all. CM Punk’s return to the company only boosted sales in Chicago, and the rest of those dates haven’t seen much action at all. It was only noted that “Newark’s doing okay.” Even with AEW using CM Punk as a main promotional tool for upcoming Collision shows, fans aren’t buying tickets.
