Randy Orton has accomplished many things during his two-decade run with the WWE. The Apex Predator continued to reinvent himself over the years, but his body couldn’t take it anymore. Orton truly changed as a person over the years, becoming a chill person as opposed to the brash troublemaker he once was. That said, it appears that an ex-WWE Superstar once threatened to end his life for a bizarre reason.

Randy Orton has been on the shelf for quite a long time due to his back injury. He was written off WWE television after being attacked by The Usos last year and fans continue to miss him. As previously reported, Orton underwent back fusion surgery and things haven’t gotten better for him since then.

Randy Orton made his main roster debut back in 2002 and around the same, Dawn Marie signed with the company as well. Orton had financial issues during his early days on the main roster.

While on the road, he told Dawn Marie that he was broke and had no hotel room. While Marie believed he was just lying to get into her hotel room, she let him in. While speaking with D-Von Dudley on his Table Talk podcast, Dawn Marie revealed that she threatened to kill Randy Orton if he came near her bed in the hotel room.

“I almost got into a lot of trouble because Randy [Orton] didn’t have a room or something and he probably lied, just trying to get in my room, who knows? So I felt bad for him, you know, because he was broke. Not that he’s broke now, he made up for it. So I was like, ‘Randy, okay, fine. You can sleep on the chair in my room!’ And I was like, ‘If you come anywhere near my bed, I swear to God I’m gonna kill you.’ So I let him do it like a couple different nights, I let him like sleep on the chair.”

Ringside News exclusively reported that Randy Orton’s return to the squared circle is planned, but it won’t happen this Summer. We’ll have to see when The Apex Predator will return to the ring.
