The G1 Climax 33 tournament will kick off with an exciting round-robin format, where each participating star will have the opportunity to face off against every other competitor in their respective block.
Once the block competition concludes, the four top point leaders, one from each block, will advance to the highly anticipated semi-finals.
The semi-finals will feature two intense matches, determining the two finalists who will go head-to-head in the grand final of the G1 Climax 33 tournament. The ultimate victor will earn the coveted opportunity to challenge for the prestigious IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 18 in January 2024. It’s worth noting that the winner will need to defend their status as the number one contender throughout the journey, adding an additional layer of intensity to their path towards championship glory.
