After being released from WWE, Mia Yim took a break for herself and tied the knot with Keith Lee. Subsequently, she participated in Impact Wrestling for a period of time. She returned to WWE in the previous year and joined the OC. Yim is also active on social media and it appears she ripped a fan who got scammed by a Shayna Baslzer impersonator.

The advent of social media is truly a double-edged sword. While it has made it easier than ever for fans to interact with their favorite pro wrestlers, it has also given rise to scammers who impersonate pro wrestlers and scam unsuspecting fans.

A fan recently took to Twitter and claimed that Shayna Baszler scammed a friend of his of €200. Mia Yim saw the tweet and ripped the fan, making it clear that he got scammed by someone who impersonated Shayna Baszler.

You got scammed. We know you are “the friend”. You’re a stalker. Get help. You got scammed by a fake Shayna and if you don’t believe it, keep losing $. Enough already.

It is sad to see that someone has been impersonating Shayna Baszler just to scam other people, but that is simply the danger of social media right now. Regardless, we do hope Baszler does not get blamed for such scams ever again.

What’s your take on Mia Yim? Do you think scammers are a menace to society? Sound off in the comments!
