Carmelo Hayes Appears On WWE SmackDown This Week

Carmelo Hayes and Baron Corbin are engaged in a feud on NXT, and this week they brought their heated exchange to SmackDown this week. Now, it appears that you never know where NXT talent will show up next.

During WWE SmackDown this week, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams were spotted at ringside during Baron Corbin’s segment. The Lone Wolf cut a promo in the ring, and then he lost a match after that to Butch.

Following the match, Baron Corbin and Carmelo Hayes brawled at ringside. This was quite an unexpected segment on the blue brand.

We previously reported that WWE CEO Nick Khan wanted to bring main roster talent to NXT. This will hopefully help increase viewership and bring them a bigger offer when their television rights deal comes around.

Seth Rollins is also likely going to collide with Bron Breakker on NXT. That match could draw a lot of attention, and this interaction on NXT this week could be a good thing for everyone involved.
