Brodie Lee passed away on December 26th, 2020, and the pro wrestling world still misses him to this day. AEW has paid tribute to Mr. Brodie Lee countless times over the past few years, and that is not likely to stop. Fans have also certainly not forgotten about him, either.
Brodie Lee’s passing is still a hard pill to swallow for a lot of fans. He was taken from us so suddenly, and nobody knew he was sick outside his close circle until the tragic news of his passing broke.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted a report from Wrestlenomics on the top AEW merchandise sellers this week. Interestingly enough, Brodie Lee topped the list over the last week.
Merch ranking estimates for last week from Wrestlenomics top five were Brodie Lee, AEW vs. NJW Bullet Club gold, Orange Cassidy, The Acclaimed and BCC. Top items were Lee’s “AEW Unmatched” item, AEW vs. NJPW Bullet Club Gold shirt, Cassidy “One Line BCC “Be Real” shirt and the new FIR “Billion Star” shirt.
Brodie Lee is gone, but he will never be forgotten. Fans also probably can’t wait to see him in video game form when AEW: Fight Forever finally drops at the end of June.
We will keep a close eye on AEW, and the rest of the pro wrestling world, right here at Ringside News. Please keep checking back for constant updates.
