AEW stars give their all in the ring, and it seems that one star will be out of action for some time. It’s been a while since Yuka Sakazaki was on AEW television, and a neck injury is going to keep her from action until she heals up.

A recent injury has sidelined Yuka Sakazaki, who had announced her departure from Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling in May. She was set to make appearances for All Elite Wrestling after her final show in December, but that didn’t happen.

Unfortunately, TJPW released a statement revealing that Sakazaki suffered a neck injury, forcing her to withdraw from the company’s June 11th event. Medical professionals have deemed her unfit to compete, resulting in the Princess Tag Team Titles held by Sakazaki and Mizuki being vacated.

Additionally, Yuka Sakazaki was originally scheduled to face Nyla Rose from AEW at the Summer Sun Princess event on July 8th. However, due to her injury, she has been pulled from that show as well.

Nyla Rose will be participating in a four-way number one contender’s match for the AEW Women’s World Championship on the June 9 episode of AEW Rampage, facing Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D., Mercedes Martinez, and Skye Blue.

We’re hoping that Yuka Sakazaki is able to heal up very soon and get back to action. Until that day comes, keep it tuned with us here at Ringside News.
