WWE has a lot of titles floating around, but they have yet to introduce a women’s secondary title. The big question still remains when WWE will create a Women’s Intercontinental Championship, but there is certainly a call for that.

The Intercontinental Championship is a favorite in the men’s division, with decades of history behind it. It is often associated with hard work and exceptional talent, once being considered the workhorse title.

Many legendary WWE Hall of Famers have held this title before progressing to chase the Intercontinental Championship. That being said, the women still don’t have a secondary title in WWE.

Zoey Stark is still fresh off her NXT call-up, but she expressed her desire for WWE to introduce a Women’s Intercontinental title. She would also love to see Evolution II.

While speaking to Steve Fall’s 10 Count, Zoey Stark expressed her desire to get a run as Women’s IC Champion.

“I would love nothing more to add in like an IC [Intercontinental] Women’s Championship. Like I think that would be fun to get that involved with it and more opportunities for the women to be put on TV. I think it would do a lot of good for us.”

Gunther has been a dominant force in the division as the Intercontinental Champion, approaching an impressive one-year reign. Only time will tell if a women’s champion will ever hold an IC Title with the same dominance.

In 2019, WWE made the decision to revamp the classic appearance of the Intercontinental Championship, originally introduced by Cody Rhodes during his initial tenure with the company. Leading up to Survivor Series that year, Sami Zayn unveiled a fresh design for Shinsuke Nakamura, who held the title at the time. It’s anyone’s guess if a Women’s IC Title will ever be on the table.
