Howard Finkel made his WWE debut in 1977 for the WWWF in Madison Square Garden. He remained a highlight in WWE for years to come after becoming the company’s full-time announcer in 1979.

Howard Finkel was respected by fans and peers alike for his contributions to the business, especially due to his iconic voice. Finkel even returned as CM Punk’s announcer many years ago – a moment that fans loved.
