Ryback is never one to hold his opinion to himself. After all, his reputation online is to shoot now and ask questions later. This is another example of how he spoke out of pocket, but he had to apologize for it.

Vince McMahon’s mother passed away in recent memory, and Ryback decided to use that as an opportunity to shade Vince McMahon.

Although Ryback initially said that dragging Vince McMahon’s mother “needed to be done,” he did eventually apologize for it.

During a recent live stream, Ryback addressed the situation where he dissed Vince McMahon’s dead mother. He apologized “for her, not anyone buy her, because I met her and she was a sweet woman.” He said that WWE reached out to settle, because WWE “knew” they were going to lose the Ryback trademark.

This was a big deal for Ryback, and he was backed into a corner, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to get his name back, and getting his health back as well. After WWE delayed the case for over a year, which cost Ryback even more money, the Big Guy felt that he needed to “hurt you emotionally if that’s the game you’re gonna play.”

Twitter is always an entertaining place to find opinions, no matter which side to the fence they land. Ryback is also known to use the platform, especially when he’s complaining about his engagement.

Ryback and WWE had a terrible legal dispute over his name. Since he changed his name legally, that added another layer to the situation. Now that the disagreement is in the past, it seems that Ryback is aiming at an in-ring return.
