R-Truth has been part of the company for several years and remains a beloved act even now. The most-decorated WWE 24/7 Champion in history suffered an injury on NXT back in November last year. It now appears that he is making great recovery progress after he remains absent due to injury.

R-Truth faced Grayson Waller in the opening match of NXT last year in November. At one point during the match, Truth sent Waller out of the ring for a diving spot. Truth performed a dive, but he ended up hitting hard on the thin mat outside.

Due to that unfortunate crash into the thin mat outside the ring, R-Truth suffered an injury. It was then reported that R-Truth will be out of action for up to six months. He underwent surgery for the injury back on November 8th last year.

R-Truth recently took to Twitter and uploaded a video that showed the condition of his injured leg over time. The video concluded with a photo of R-Truth standing in a locker room, implying that he has been training without leg support – which is certainly a great sign for his recovery.
