AJ Styles is considered by many to be one of the wrestling GOATs right now, especially due to his high level of performance even now. He was part of Monday Night RAW last week, which puzzled fans as he is a Smackdown star. Now it appears Vince McMahon was criticized for bringing in AJ Styles for RAW last week.

AJ Styles failed to beat Seth Rollins in the finals of the World Heavyweight Title tournament at WWE Night Of Champions. Afterwards, fans wondered what Styles would do next.

As it turned out, AJ Styles appeared on last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. He ended up teaming up with Seth Rollins in the main event of the show, where they faced off against The Judgment Day in a tag team match.

As previously reported, AJ Styles’ appearance was a last-minute decision and the call was made by Vince McMahon. While speaking on his show Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru, Jim Cornette criticized Vince McMahon for ‘blowing up’ the WWE Draft with AJ Styles’ recent appearance on Monday Night RAW.

“‘Wait a minute!’, there’s the matter of the draft and the fact that AJ [Styles] is not supposed to be here. But then they come back and Adam Pearce and he says ‘Yes sir! Yes sir!’ and he ok’s the tag team match for later even though AJ is on SmackDown and he can’t be on RAW. And by ‘yes sir’ one would think, because we’ve also heard it reported that it was a Vince McMahon call. So Vince called him and said ‘Put AJ on the show!’ and blew up their draft in two weeks.”

We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for AJ Styles in the coming weeks. After all, fans still want to see him become a champion at least one more time before he retires.
