Kevin Nash went through a terrible personal tragedy when his son, Tristen, passed away. He had a ton of support as he dealt with that terrible event, and he is slowly starting to take projects once again. That being said, it wasn’t an easy experience at all.
During a recent episode of the Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash shared his experience filming for A&E’s “WWE Most Wanted Treasures” and the personal significance it held for him. After all, that was the first project he agreed to do after the passing of his son, Tristen.
Kevin Nash explained that he decided to participate in the show because of Mick Foley, and it provided him with an opportunity to spend time with him.
“I did it because I knew Mick (Foley) would make me laugh. I was looking forward to spending the day with him. I’ve always had a great time traveling and hanging out with Mick. He has a great sense of humor, and our conversations are always engaging and enjoyable. So, I felt it would be a positive experience to dive back into that environment.”
Kevin Nash’s participation in the show not only allowed him to reconnect with his passion for wrestling history, but also provided a meaningful opportunity for camaraderie and laughter with a trusted friend like Mick Foley.
“I did that Hidden Treasures and after it was over with, they sat me down and the guy said, ‘Couple of questions’, and he went right to the NWO, and I said, ‘F*ck this.’ It’s the first thing I’d done since Tristen passed.”
The upcoming episode of “Most Wanted Treasures” will air on A&E this Sunday night, focusing on items associated with the legendary “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. That episode promises to dive into the world of Piper’s memorabilia and the lasting impression he left on the entire pro wrestling world.
Kevin Nash saw the pro wrestling world gravitate around him when he experienced that terrible personal tragedy. Now, he is on his way to healing, and hopefully, he can return to some form of normalcy once again.
