Andrade El Idolo came with a lot of hype to AEW and fans wanted him to achieve a level of success he did not get in WWE. None of that happened as he was largely involved in forgettable feuds, despite some great matches. He has been out of action for a while now and it appears Idolo’s in-ring return has finally been announced.
Andrade had suffered an injury and had to undergo surgery after a trios tag team match on House of The Dragon special edition of AEW Dynamite back in August last year. He clearly took time off and made the most of it by transforming himself.
As previously reported, it was officially announced that Andrade El Idolo will be making his return to AEW television as part of AEW Collision. In fact, Idolo legitimately had no idea he was going to be on the show.
Andrade Idolo took to his Instagram and officially announced that he will be making his in-ring return on June 15. Andrade will compete in a Triangular de la Muerte match that will also feature Psycho Clown and Cibernetico and the match will be held at Gomez Palacio, Durango in Mexico.
The debut episode of AEW Collision will also take place just two days later, so Andrade El Iodolo will definitely have a busy week. It remains to be seen whether Andrade El Idolo will end up getting a push this time around.
