Call For Kurt Angle To Return & Feud With Austin Theory

Austin Theory is steadily building his reputation as one of WWE’s up-and-coming talents, showcasing his skills on television each week. The United States Champion worked hard to become one of the more reliable Superstars in the company right now. Now it appears that there has been a call for Kurt Angle to feud with Austin Theory.

The United States Champion defeated John Cena at WrestleMania 39 earlier this year and this ended up shocking fans in a major way. Of course, Theory has been carrying forward with the momentum since then.

Ever since Austin Theory was called up to the main roster, Vince McMahon had plans to position him as a top star. After Triple H took over as head of Creative, it has been evident that those plans remain unchanged.

While speaking on Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell stated that he believes Kurt Angle should come back and engage in a feud with Austin Theory as it would help the young WWE Superstar.

I don’t think it could hurt. If they’re able to get what Cena said out of people’s minds or if they’re even still thinking about that, I’m sure it’s in the back of their heads. But I think him and Angle could have some great skits, some great backstage stuff, stuff in the ring. It’s gonna be kinda not funny but cute, smartass and Kurt was great with that stuff. So just an idea, I think it’ll help Theory a lot.

We will have to wait and see what WWE has planned for Austin Theory in the coming weeks as a feud with Kurt Angle seems highly unlikely right now.
