Roman Reigns has established himself as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time thanks to his incredible character work. The Tribal Chief has been on a warpath since 2020 and there is simply no end in sight. That being said, it appears WWE could unveil a new title design on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens defended their WWE Undisputed Tag Team against the team of Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at the WWE Night Of Champions Premium Live Event.
The biggest talking point of the match was when Jimmy Uso betrayed The Tribal Chief after hitting him with two superkicks back to back. The Bloodline imploded and fans were utterly shocked.
This week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown will see a celebration of Roman Reigns, who recently crossed 1000 days as WWE Universal Champion. According to Fightful’s paywall, numerous memos were sent out yesterday within WWE, regarding the 1,000-day celebration of Roman Reigns. The memos included the mention of a “New WWE Universal Championship.”
In the early creative notes for the show, it was noted that there will be a podium where the new title will be unveiled. The presentation was described as the presentation as being similar to when The Rock revealed the new WWE Championship back in 2013.
Roman Reigns will no doubt be in a terrible mood after what transpired at WWE Night Of Champions. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether WWE will unveil a new title on Smackdown this week.
