WWE Could Be Planning Major Ronda Rousey Tag Team Split After Title Win

Ronda Rousey came back during the 2022 Royal Rumble event after a nearly three-year absence from WWE. She eventually became a two-time Smackdown Women’s Champion, but never quite got over with the fans. While Rousey is currently a tag team champion, it appears WWE could be planning a major feud after her partnership with Shayna Baslzer ends.

After a brief hiatus following WrestleMania 39, Ronda Rousey came back again and set her sights on the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. She and Shayna Baszler defeated three other teams on RAW this week in order to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, something that fans did not like whatsoever.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler were supposed to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles back at WrestleMania 39, but that didn’t happen due to Ronda Rousey’s injury at the time.

Dave Meltzer on The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that Rousey and Baszler had pitched to become a tag team, but that they had also pitched that they would have the “ability to work a heated program with each other”.

While that doesn’t seem to be the plan at the moment, it is likely the two will eventually split up and start feuding with each other. We will have to wait and see when Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler will begin their feud.
