Spoilers On WWE’s Early Plans For SmackDown This Week

WWE has a lot of momentum as they are preparing for July 1st’s Money in the Bank event, and this week’s SmackDown is no exception. Now, we know a few things to expect from this week’s show.

Sean Sapp noted a few spoilers behind Fightful’s paywall. It was noted that they have an office area set for Adam Pearce’s segments, and plan to hang the MITB briefcases over the ring.

It was also reported that, “WWE has brought in a half dozen extras to serve as security guards for Smackdown.” It was not noted why they are bringing in so many extras, but they could use them in a couple of segments.

As mentioned, as of Thursday night, there was a “new WWE Universal Championship” to be unveiled for a Roman Reigns celebration.

It was also noted that, “The Grayson Waller Effect is planned for Smackdown.” Waller’s guest was not noted for the show.

We will have to see what happens on SmackDown this week. Obviously, WWE has a lot of options as they build momentum toward July 1st’s Money in the Bank event. Stick with Ringside News for more information.
