WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre has recently completed the process of becoming a naturalized American citizen during his time off after WrestleMania 39, according to PWInsider Elite.
However, when it comes to his contractual status with WWE, there isn’t much of an update at the moment.
The two parties have yet to reach an agreement on a new contract that would extend McIntyre’s tenure with the company. His current deal is expected to expire in early 2024. It remains unclear whether McIntyre’s recent travel to New York City involved a meeting with WWE officials regarding his contract.
In addition to contract negotiations, McIntyre and his family are also dealing with the passing of his sister-in-law. Ringside News extends its deepest sympathies to McIntyre and his entire family during this difficult time.
Wrestling fans will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on any updates regarding Drew McIntyre’s contract negotiations and future with WWE.
