AEW had plans to announce house shows, and they carried on with that plan. The idea is to give wrestlers more time in the ring, but fan turnout might be an issue.
The company has a lot of things going on, just because they have a new Collision show, doesn’t mean they are going to stop with their house shows. That being said, it might not be a terrible idea.
Wrestle Tix reported some numbers for upcoming AEW live events. Suffice it to say, they are not stellar.

Those are not the best numbers for AEW house shows, but they do still have their niche demographic who are excited about their shows. The company might need to consider a different tactic to improve numbers.
It seems that AEW is going to keep going with their house shows, regardless of the turnout. They can certainly improve things, but perhaps there is still hope that AEW will be able to turn things around.
