AEW has seen a lot of growth since its inception in 2019, especially when it comes to the company’s overall improvement in its production values. Naturally, there are quite a few people who are still waiting to see what else Tony Khan has planned for the company. That being said, it appears Khan still hasn’t found the right solution for the streaming deal.

With the inception of AEW Rampage back in 2021 and the company buying out Ring of Honor, the company has more content than ever before. In addition to that, AEW Collision will be debuting this month.

Due to this many, fans have wondered if AEW will ever get a streaming service. This is a major frustration for many fans as the company still does not have an official streaming service for its backlog.

While speaking to Variety, AEW President Tony Khan talked about domestic streaming rights. He was asked if he has any specific plans regarding a streaming deal. Khan admitted that he still hasn’t found the right solution for the streaming deal.

”Domestically we’re still looking for the right solution, and it’s a very exciting time for us because the streaming business continues to grow here domestically and frankly the value of AEW events continues to grow

As we build a great library of historical content, it presents more and more opportunities for a potential FAST entry I think. I think that’s a decision we need to make in part with our domestic media partners, with Warner Bros. Discovery, who have great presence in the world of streaming, and figure out what makes sense for us in terms of our partnership. Because absolutely there is money on the table for streaming pro wrestling events…So there could be great opportunities there.”

Ahead of any plans for an AEW media streaming service, the company will continue to move forward with its upcoming AEW Collision show. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see whether AEW will finally get a streaming deal.
