WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg has done a lot for the business, but he remains a free agent after his WWE contract expired. He hasn’t competed in a match for a very long time but wants a retirement tour.
Ringside News exclusively reported that Goldberg is not happy about the status of his retirement match. It was also reported that Goldberg’s retirement match is not a concern for WWE.
While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff talked about Goldberg taking part in a retirement tour. He noted two scenarios – one good and one bad. That said, Bischoff believes Goldberg’s retirement tour could be an absolute nightmare.
“I think it could also be a f***ing nightmare, and I wouldn’t go near it with a ten-foot pole, but that’s just me. The critical issue is does he have the right promoting partner?”
Interestingly enough, Ryback recently called out Goldberg for a retirement match. We will have to wait and see whether Goldberg will accept his challenge, as Tony Khan is also interesting in Goldberg.
What’s your view on what Eric Bischoff said? Do you think Goldberg will finally have a retirement tour? Let us know in the comments!
