Andrade El Idolo Hints At AEW Return After CM Punk Collision Announcement

Andrade El Idolo came with a lot of hype to AEW and fans wanted him to succeed in a big way. None of that happened as he was largely involved in forgettable feuds, despite some great matches. He has been out of action for a while now and it appears Idolo hinted at returning just after CM Punk’s return announcement at AEW Collision.

Andrade had suffered an injury and had to undergo surgery after a trios tag team match on House of The Dragon special edition of AEW Dynamite back in August last year. He clearly took time off and made the most of it by transforming himself.

As previously reported, it was officially announced that Andrade El Idolo will be making his return to AEW television as part of AEW Collision. In fact, Idolo legitimately had no idea he was going to be on the show.

After a very long hiatus, it was announced on Dynamite this week that CM Punk will make his return during the debut episode of AEW Collision. Naturally, fans are excited about his return.

Andrade El Idolo took to Twitter and reacted to CM Punk’s return announcement by stating that he is in similar situation as the Second City Saint, hinting at his return at the show as well.

AEW Collision will be making its debut on June 17th and fans simply cannot wait for its first show. We will have to wait and see whether Andrade El Idolo will end up getting a push this time around.
