Jon Moxley debuted at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and wasted no time in making a huge impact on the company. Four years since his debut, Moxley has become a mainstay of AEW. That being said, he won’t be appearing on the debut episode of AEW Collision.

The company recently announced that AEW Collision will be debuting on June 17th, marking the return of Saturday night shows. AEW will hold the debut episode of Collision at the United Center in Chicago and fans are very excited about it.

The show will be centered around CM Punk, who will make his return during the debut episode next month. Needless to say, not everyone will be part of the show as they don’t want to work with CM Punk.

Independent promotion Wrestling Revolver announced that Jon Moxley, who was tired of all the drama surrounding CM Punk, will be part of their event in Dayton, OH on the same day as Collision’s debut. Konosuke Takeshita is also booked for the show, so both he and Moxley will be missing out on Collision’s debut.

Dayton to Chicago is around an 80-minute plane flight, which will more or less ensure they will not be around for AEW Collision’s debut. Samoa Joe also believes AEW Collision will provide a lot of opportunities. We’ll have to see how AEW Collision will fare in the end.
