Larry Zbyszko’s contributions to the pro wrestling world are well known at this point. He is especially famous for his feud with Bruno Sammartino during the early 80s. Now it appears that he considered a bizarre storyline with Alicia Fox on Total Divas.

Alicia Fox’s stint on Total Divas spanned three seasons, captivating fans from 2014 to 2016. During this time, she had an interesting conversation with Larry Zbyszko, contemplating the possibility of his appearance on the series.

Zbyszko and Fox shared a genuine friendship that extended beyond the wrestling ring. In a revealing interview on Hannibal TV, he delved into their relationship and shed light on a fascinating moment in their friendship. Zbyszko noted that he happened to be at Fox’s house when she received the news about her inclusion in the Total Divas cast.

Interestingly enough, they toyed with the idea of incorporating Zbyszko into the storyline as part of a “sugar daddy rumor” narrative alongside Alicia Fox. Of course, none of that happened in the end.

“At the very beginning when they first asked her to go on I was at her house and we were kicking around an idea, the sugar daddy rumor, me and her, but I just couldn’t humiliate the kid and have people think that there was something going on where at the end it turns out we’re just friends and I’m helping her learn how to wrestle. I just couldn’t humiliate the chick.”

Zbyszko added that he had a “cute friendship” with Fox. Regardless, Alicia Fox is currently training with Booker T for an in-ring return. We’ll have to see whether she will end up competing in the future.
