Claressa Shields is one of the top female boxers going right now, and she considers herself a “natural entertainer.” That might translate well into pro wrestling, and she seems down to take that leap.

While speaking to Brandon Robinson, Claressa Shields stated that she could do well in WWE. At least that is her assertion, considering the fact that Shields believes that she possesses all the criteria needed for success in WWE.

“LISTEN I’m a natural entertainer. I believe that I would have a part in the storyline and I would be all for it.”

Claressa Shields also stated that she, “could take some of those girls, so yeah, WWE call me.” It remains to be seen if WWE will give her a call.

WWE has signed plenty of stars from other avenues of sports. Ronda Rousey stands tall as a shining example of how someone from a different combat sports background can make a jump to WWE and succeed. Only time will tell if fans will eventually be able to add Claressa Shields to that list.

Claressa Shields is very confident, as she should be. She even wants a boxing match against Jake Paul. That hasn’t been signed either, but WWE giving her a call seems highly likely.

We will have to see if someone from WWE sees this interview, but odds are they would be very interested in seeing how serious she is about becoming a pro wrestler. Obviously, WWE has plenty of assets and resources to help Claressa Shields make a transition into pro wrestling if she’s down to do the work.
