Konosuke Takeshita won over AEW fans over the past year after competing in numerous excellent matches on AEW television, against the likes of Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley. For the past few weeks, Takeshita was aligned with The Elite in their feud against The Blackpool Combat Club. However, he turned on The Elite at AEW Double Or Nothing. Now it appears Takeshita broke his silence after betraying the Elite.

For the past several weeks, The Blackpool Combat Club have been feuding with The Elite and has been one of the central points of AEW television. Don Callis betraying Kenny Omega further intensified their rivalry in a big way.

As seen during the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view, The Elite squared off against The Blackpool Combat Club in the Anarchy In The Arena match. Towards the end of the match, Konosuke Takeshita turned on The Elite and aligned himself with the Blackpool Combat Club, thus costing The Elite the match.

Following his shocking actions, Konosuke Takeshita took to Twitter and broke his silence after betraying the Elite by simply stating that The Elite was the best, which was obvious sarcasm.
