Buddy Matthews debuted in AEW back in 2022 following his WWE release the prior year. He is currently a member of The House Of Black and has been on a roll as the AEW Trios Champion. He was massively dissed at Double Or Nothing last night and now it appears Matthews reacted to that in a now-deleted tweet.

Buddy Matthews, fka Buddy Murphy in WWE, has been in a real-life relationship with Ripley for several months. The two have often shown each other a lot of love and support on social media, despite working in different companies.

During AEW Double Or Nothing, Max Caster chose violence in his rap as he dropped an insane Dominik Mysterio reference while mocking Buddy Matthews for getting cucked. Naturally, fans wondered when Matthews was going to react to this.

As previously reported, Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio reacted to Max Caster namedropping Dominik. That said, Buddy Matthews also happened to reply to Rhea Ripley in a now-deleted tweet. Many felt Matthews looked weak in his reply, which might be why he deleted it in the first place.

Yes, yes you are! Congratulations. They made you more famous during their TV time. 🙂

Rhea Ripley also previously hinted that she could convince Matthews to make his WWE return. We’ll have to wait and see whether Mathews will be returning to WWE eventually, as it seems unlikely right now.

What’s your view on what Buddy Matthews said? Do you feel bad for him? Sound off in the comments!
