Naomi walked out on WWE along with Mercedes Mone a year ago on Monday Night RAW and fans wondered if she would ever come back. That will no longer happen as Naomi is now an Impact Wrestling star known as Trinity going forward. She has already impressed fans with her showing and it appears that her opponent for Slammiversary has been revealed.
Trinity wasted no time getting the Impact Wrestling fans acquainted with her work, as she defeated the likes of KiLynn King in a singles match. Trinity then squared off against Gisele Shaw at the Impact Wrestling Under Siege event, where Trinity was the victor.
The company also taped quite a few solid matches during its latest television tapings in London, Ontario, Canada on May 27. The matches will air at a later date and this is also your official spoiler warning.
During the latest set of Impact Wrestling tapings, Trinity squared off against Savannah Evans, accompanied by Gisele Shaw and Jai Vidal. Unsurprisingly Trinity won the match and immediately challenged Deonna Purrazzo for the IMPACT Knockouts Title at Slammiversary.
Deonna Purrazzo wasted no time in accepting the challenge. That said, Jordynne Grace tried to intervene and was brutally attacked by Evans, Shaw, and Vidal instead. We’ll have to see how Impact Wrestling will book Trinity and Purrazzo’s feud leading up to Slammiversary.
